Open Question: What should my son call his stepfather?

My son is 2 years old and calls his stepfather by his first name. They absolutely adore each other. His biological father moved to Florida (we live in Massachusetts) about a month ago and will not be coming back for a long time. Before that he had not seen his son in months. He is talking about making his way to California as well. He is a bum and a drug addict who does nothing for himself and doesn't know how to behave like an adult. It makes me uncomfortable because once in a while he calls and asks to talk to my son and I refer to him as Dada, but I have a feeling that my son is forgetting who that is. I believe he sees my husband as the primary male figure in his life, and while I will not push the matter, if my son starts to call my husband Dad on his own I don't think it would be right to correct him.
